Kayla Loves the Environment and Animals [TUESDAY’S CHILD]
Kayla is a friendly and fun girl. She loves dancing, going for walks in the park and being outside. When she was younger, she enjoyed gymnastics and would like to resume lessons. She also enjoys learning new things, going out in the community and staying active.
Kayla is independent and mature, follows directions well and is great at communicating her wants and needs. She is easy to talk to and likes to have intelligent conversations about topics such as animals and preserving the environment. She is a smart girl and has built positive relationships in and out of school.
Kayla would do best with at least one female parent, and she would like a sibling. She would also love her forever family to have a dog or cat and she says she would “prefer a family that has a Tesla car."
Kayla has two visits per year with her biological mother and her baby sister.
Who Can Adopt
If you’re at least 18, have a stable source of income and have room in your heart, you may be a perfect match to adopt a waiting child. Adoptive parents can be single, married or partnered; experienced or not; renters or homeowners; LGBTQ+ singles and couples. As an adoptive parent, you won’t have to pay any fees. Adoption from foster care is completely free in Massachusetts.
The process to adopt a child from foster care includes training, interviews and home visits to determine if adoption is right for you. These steps will help match you with a child or sibling group that will be a good fit.
To learn more about adoption from foster care, call the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) at (617) 964-6273 or visit www.mareinc.org. Start the process today and give a waiting child a permanent place to call home.
