495 South in Middleborough Shut Down Due to Serious Crash

UPDATE (11:15 A.M.) - The left lane of I-495 South in Middleborough between Exit 3 and 2 has been reopened.

ORIGINAL STORY (10:42 A.M.) -

MIDDLEBOROUGH — A serious crash in Middleborough has closed all southbound lanes of I-495.

The crash took place at around 10 a.m. between Exit 3 and 2.

Massachusetts State Police say the accident was a rollover crash resulting in serious injury.

At least one medflight has been requested to transport injured parties.
