The hair was crimped, the shoulder pads were large and teens everywhere were shouting "I want my MTV!" The 1980s were full of famous faces, great music and blockbuster movies.

It was a simpler time. The average cost of a home was only $82,500. Gasoline was $1.12 per gallon and you actually had to memorize your friends' phone number, pick up a landline and speak to them. Crazy!

In the world of entertainment, Michael Jackson was king, literally. The King of Pop dominated the charts with hits off his Thriller album. Madonna's provocative image and catchy tunes had everyone wanting to be a Material Girl.

In 1985, the Brat Pack were all over the big screen. Demi Moore, Rob Lowe, Molly Ringwald, Emilio Estevez and more captivated audiences with their films like St. Elmo's Fire, Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, The Outsiders and Sixteen Candles.

The Brat Pack's success was nothing compared to the action-packed adventure of Back to the Future.
