20 SouthCoast Dishes That Deserve to Be on the Food Network
There's no doubt about it, I'm a foodie who's in love with what the SouthCoast can chef up. From Portuguese food to authentic Mexican and Italian cuisine, I've tried almost everything that this area has to offer.
To live in an area where restaurants, pubs, and fast food joints are on just about every corner is a dangerous place to be, and I don't mean that in a bad way. Let's just say that if you're a fan of food, then this is the place you want to be. Fall River favorites, New Bedford eateries, and Westport mom-and-pop diners are the soul of the SouthCoast that keeps its residents fed and spoiled.
I constantly catch myself droning out watching cooking shows on the Food Network and one day, a lightbulb appeared and I thought to myself, you know what? There are tons of places around the SouthCoast who are just as good if not better than some of the featured restaurants on this network.
Therefore, this is my plea to the Food Network to check out this deliciously descriptive and extensive list of 20 of my favorite menu items and dishes across the SouthCoast.
My phone is flooded with photos of the food I've ordered throughout my life, so I did my best to search and pick out the best of the best.
