Thanksgiving Stuffing Made With Linguica
Here is another yummy recipe from Becky Rivera, one that many of you may want to try this Thanksgiving. This is a Chicken or Turkey stuffing that includes the Portuguese Linguica sausage. Our family makes ours with Portuguese pops and Chourico but this sounds delicious too!
1 large onion
1 green pepper
3 large apples
12 packages of Ritz crackers
2 packages of chopped linguica
2 sticks of butter
1 box of bell seasoning
1 can of evaporate milk
1 package of chicken (or turkey) gizzards
Melt butter in large pan add chopped unions green pepper apples and linguica to cook. Shred all crackers in food processor so it is fine like powder. Then add the meat and one can of milk and stir to desired consistency stuff turkey and is also great to make stuffed mushrooms. Then enjoy when the bird id done. Believe me you wont be sorry you will get many compliments on its rich taste.
