Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence has added even more fun to your zoo day with the new Soaring Eagle Zip Line!

The 760-foot long zip line opens to the public today (September 1) and is located right next to the Hasbro Big Backyard.

The ride takes you 115 feet high, first backwards and then forwards and gives you amazing views of Providence and even into Narragansett Bay.

And you can enjoy it with someone, cause the ride is two seats side-by-side!

NBC 10 reporter Tony Gugliotta got an early ride on Thursday and it looks like a lot of fun.

The zoo says a ride will cost $12 for zoo patrons and $10 for zoo members.

They also plan to open it at night for rides costing $15 during the Jack O'Lantern spectacular, which is sure to look amazing!

For now you can't ride the Soaring Eagle Zip Line unless you are at the zoo, but next summer they plan to open it up to the general public.

The zip line also only runs weather permitting, if there is heavy rain or high winds it won't be open.
