Your Guide to Indoor Trick-or-Treating for Halloween
Halloween is this Thursday and rain is in the forecast. A total bummer, since trick-or-treating is the main event for the holiday and it looks like crummy weather in store for the little ones to go out and get their candy. Luckily, we have a few options for you to have some Halloween fun indoors!
The Dartmouth Mall is hosting a Trick or Treating event with over 20 stores. The event starts at 5 pm.

In addition to the Dartmouth Mall, a few local nursing homes are also opening their doors to the public so you can stop by for a trick-or-treating event with their residents. They’d love to see your little ones in costume and pass out treats to them. What a nice way to bring a smile to someone’s face this holiday.
- Savoy Nursing & Rehabilitation in New Bedford
- Care One in New Bedford will host their event in the lobby
- Alden Court in Fairhaven
The following nursing homes will let you visit with their residents on Halloween if you have a family member who resides there:

One of the nursing homes has decided to host their event ahead of Halloween. The Royal of Fairhaven will be celebrating the holiday with the public tonight, Tuesday, October 29.
Sacred Heart Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitative Care will not be open to the public on Halloween, but invite you to join them in festivities on Friday, November 1.
Please let us know if you hear of any more indoor trick-or-treating events for Halloween and we will add them to the list!
