Busch Beer announced a new brew on Wednesday, August 26. Dog Brew is a special concoction for your four-legged friend. It is an alcohol-free bone broth with ingredients like bone-in pork butt, whole corn, celery, basil, mint, turmeric, and ginger.

According to Busch.com, this is “a nutritious and tasty snack that helps to promote a healthy digestive system. Bone broth is also a great way for dogs who struggle to eat solid food to get all of their extra nutrients. Your best friend is going to love it. We’re pawsitive.”

Alcohol and hops are toxic for dogs, so it’s best to keep other beers for yourself. Although this formula is safe for humans, I would keep this can away from the others in your fridge so you don’t accidentally drink bone broth after a long day.
Busch recommends that this can be served to your furry friend in a bowl by itself, or over food. “Can be served cold or room temperature (some dogs don’t like cold items).”

Busch Dog Brew will last for up to 5 days after being opened as long as it's stored in the fridge. If your dog doesn’t finish the entire can in one sitting, that‘s ok. Busch does stress that this treat is NOT a meal replacement.

We used to sprinkle turmeric on our old dog’s food to help with her inflammation, so we know it’s beneficial for a more mature pup.
