YMCA SOUTHCOAST to Host Blood Drive in Fall River

YMCA SOUTHCOAST is hosting a blood drive at the Fall River YMCA location.

This blood drive event is a partnership with the American Red Cross and will be held at the YMCA in Fall River on Sunday, June 7 from 10 am to 3 pm. The Y posted about the event on its Facebook page, requesting that members of the community save a life by donating blood during this crucial time. “Blood donors are lifesavers.”

According to the American Red Cross, appointments are now required to make a donation in order to support social distancing. “The need for blood is constant - patients need your help.” You can click HERE to see available time slots and book your appointment.

Stephanie Mancini is the Executive Director at the Fall River YMCA and she encourages the SouthCoast community to give back and help others with this crucial lifesaving act.
