Happy Wet Nose Wednesday!

If I could adopt every animal on the SouthCoast, I would, but I don't think they would thrive in my tiny apartment. So, it is my mission to get as many animals on the SouthCoast adopted as possible.

There are hundreds of animals waiting for the perfect family and these animals deserve to know what love from their own family feels like. Thanks to the help of local shelters, I share their stories.

Every Wednesday, one lucky animal gets the spotlight, and this week, we head to New Bedford where a young hound is waiting to kiss you.

Meet Sam. Sam is around 3 years old and is 62 pounds of silliness. He is a true hound and always seems to be on a mission with a tail that is always wagging.
"He is always on the move," said the shelter.
Sam is known for being very silly. He trips over his own feet, he bombards volunteers with affection, and he plays like a goofball with his doggy friends. It sounds like Sam would bring a lot of character to any home. You just have to be willing to accept some slobbery kisses.
Does Sam sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Lighthouse Animal Shelter, like them on Facebook, and schedule a play date today.
Sam cannot wait to meet you.
