Fall River Feline Hopes to Be Your New Cuddle Buddy [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Happy Wet Nose Wednesday. Let's talk about animals.
Pets bring so much love into a home, and if you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, consider adoption.
Hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast are living in shelters, waiting for their perfect forever home, and thanks to these local shelters, we share their stories.
Every Wednesday, one local animal gets the spotlight, and this week, we head to Fall River where a beautiful cat is hoping to be your new cuddle buddy.
Meet Priyanka, a 3-year-old medium domestic short-hair currently residing at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River. She lived the first few years of her life as a stray, and when she arrived at the shelter, she was matted and disheveled, but with a little TLC she is now soft, fluffy and ready for a family.
"The name 'Priyanka' is a name from the Hindu and Buddhist cultures that means 'sweet and loveable,' and if anyone fits that description, it's this girl," the shelter said.
Priyanka loves attention and affection at all times. She had a rough few years, but she never let that change her loveable ways.
Does Priyanka sound like a good fit for you and your family? Visit Forever Paws online and download the adoption application. Once complete, email it to fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to 508-677-9175.
Priyanka cannot wait to meet you.
