New year, same Wet Nose Wednesday!
Our goal for 2023 remains the same: Find the perfect homes for animals up for adoption on the SouthCoast. With the help of local shelters, we shine a light on one lucky animal every week in hopes of finding their forever family, and this week, we head to Fall River where a sweet dog waits.
Meet Moonstone, a 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier at Forever Paws Animal Shelter.

Three weeks ago, she arrived to the shelter as a stray with three other dogs, and the shelter was sad to report that no one came looking for her.
"We can't understand why," the shelter said. "She's extremely friendly and loves to meet new people and will make you her new best friend instantly."
Moonstone is full of energy and her forever family will have to be ready for a full-grown puppy and all the training that comes with it.
Moonstone is great with other dogs, but not so much with cats. She will be spayed, vetted, up to date on her vaccines and microchipped. She is heartworm-negative and has been treated for fleas and ticks.
Applicants must own their own home (or a family member must own the home), all children residents must be 12 or older, and any other dogs that live in the home must be of the opposite sex.

Does Moonstone sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Forever Paws Animal Shelter and schedule a play date today.
