Westport Scout Organizes Southcoast Coat Drive

The cold is officially upon us and unfortunately, there are many local children and people out there without warm coats suitable for winter.

Aidan Morley is a Life Scout with BSA Troop 3 of Westport, MA and a freshman at Bishop Stang who organized and executed a coatdrive in the greater Westport, Fall River area.

The BSA Troop 3 Westport, BSA Pack 3 Westport, and Cambodian American Rescue Organization, Inc. (CARO) will be holding a first annual coat giveaway for homeless and low-income families at the Health First Family Care Center Inc., on 387 Quarry St #100, Fall River, MA 02723 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on December 16, 2017.
