Westport Police Seeking Driver Who Struck Child
WESTPORT (WBSM) — Westport Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a driver involved in an incident in which a child was struck by a car.
According to a police Facebook post, the incident happened Tuesday, May 7 at approximately 2:15 p.m. Police said a green Kia Soul struck a 12-year-old child that was riding a bicycle at the intersection of Gifford Road and Old County Road.
Police stated the child fell off the bicycle and suffered scrapes on their knees and elbows.

“An unidentified female driver got out of the vehicle and asked if the child was ok prior to leaving the area,” police wrote.
