When I think of Westport, the town were I was proudly born and raised, I think of simplicity. There are no big conglomerate super centers or greasy food chains, just mom-and-pop shops and quaint eateries that serve some of the best beer in the world, brewed right here at Buzzard's Bay Brewery.

I think back on the dog days of summer riding in circles on go-karts and the nights we never wanted to end at the Oriental Pearl. Anyone who grocery shops at Lees Market either worked there prior and knows someone who did. Speaking of which, has anyone else bagged Karyn Parsons (Hillary Banks from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) groceries and helped her to the car? Just me? I guess I'll put a finger down for that one.

Speaking of which...

Have you ever heard of the game "Never Have I Ever?" It's an entertaining game where the amount of fingers you put down or keep up amount to your overall score. For example, I say, "Never have I ever watched the Westport Fair tractor pulls." If you have been to the fair to watch a concrete slab get pulled by modified tractors, then you would drop a finger. Once you run out of fingers, you're out of the game, but the goal here is to see how far you can get before running out of fingers.

The point of this particular game of "Never Have I Ever" is that the quicker you lose, the more "Westport" you truly are. Make sense?

Westport's Version of "Never Have I Ever..."

Westport and SouthCoast people, it's time to play the game where you start with 10 fingers, then continue to put them down one by one for each item you have done as you read through these 25 "Never Have I Evers." There's no way you'll make it through them all without running out of fingers. Hands up!
