Wareham Tigers Lose In Florida

The Wareham Tigers lost a hard fought battle yesterday at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida. After leading in the first half, the Tigers failed to convert on 4th and 1 in the 4th quarter. The Gilroy Browns of California then put together a game winning drive to ice the 28-20 win...and a chance at the Pop Warner National Championship. The Tigers will enjoy the Florida sunshine for the weekend before playing the North Raleigh Bulldogs on Tuesday afternoon to determine 3rd/4th place in the nation. Congratulations to all the boys and their coaches for a season they'll remember for the rest of their lives.
