Calling all leaf peeping nerds (like myself) - this interactive map will help you plan all your fall road trips this season.

Whether you want to go to New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, or Western Massachusetts to see the peak fall foliage, you can use this interactive map to help you pick the best time to go.

Currently, most of the states are still pretty green. But if you click this link, then press play on the map, you can see the foliage colors start to creep across the northern parts of New England as early as next week. If you follow the map, peak fall foliage in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine will be between the last week of September and first two weeks of October.

After the second week of October, you start to miss the "peak" time and see it turning to a "late" rating.

If you want to see the leaves in every state, plan your first weekend in Maine, then work your way down through Vermont the following week, then New Hampshire, then out to Western Mass.
