Two witnesses took the stand during the first day of the Aaron Hernandez murder trial at Fall River Superior Court.

One of the witnesses was a high school junior that discovered the body of Odin Lloyd.

Matthew Kent described what he found while running through the North Attleboro Industrial Park nearly two years ago.

Kent described what he saw at the scene and how officers set up a tent over the body before it began raining.

Lloyd's last employer, Lorne Giroux, also took the stand. He spoke about how Lloyd uncommonly missed two days of work and then received a call from the police informing him of the semi-professional football player's death.

The former New England Patriot is accused of shooting and killing Lloyd in June of 2013.
