Two-Car Crash in Acushnet Sends Both Drivers to Hospital

Acushnet Fire and EMS as well as Acushnet Police responded to a head-on motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles shortly before 2:30 p.m. this afternoon.

The crash took place on Peckham Road.

Rescue 1 transported one patient to Rhode Island Hospital, and Rescue 2 transported one patient to St. Luke's Hospital. Both were the drivers and sole occupants of the vehicles.

Peckham Road was closed for a brief period of time but has since reopened to traffic.
