A truck driven by a Fall River woman fell into a Freetown pond Tuesday night.

Freetown Police say that at approximately 8:45 p.m. they, along with members of the Freetown Fire Department, were called to the Long Pond Boat Ramp on Middleboro Rd. (Rt. 18).

The driver, identified as Tonya Whitmarsh, was attempting to back in her boat trailer when the whole truck and trailer went into the pond.

Whitmarsh's truck, identified as a 2015 Nissan Frontier, boat, and trailer were removed from the pond by John's Auto Body.

Police say Whitmarsh had symptoms of hypothermia.

The Massachusetts Environmental Police and the Department of Environmental Protection were also notified about the incident.
