Tractor-Trailer Jackknifes on I-195

If you were planning to travel into or out of Rhode Island via I-195, seek another route.

ABC6 is reporting a jackknifed tractor-trailer that has brought traffic on I-195 in both directions to a standstill for hours.

The truck crashed into the median between the East and West lanes of travel around 11:30 this morning and as of this post, traffic was still restricted to one-lane of travel in both directions.

Clean up is underway and police hope to have the highway moving a normal speeds soon, but if you have somewhere you have to be...try another way.
