Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines.

This Sunday, car enthusiasts and community members alike are invited to the Tiverton High School parking lot at 100 North Brayton Road for a special event: the Tiverton Volleyball Car Show Fundraiser. Running from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this event is set to feature a dazzling array of vehicles—from vintage classics to modern marvels, including cars, trucks, and bikes of all makes and models.

With a registration fee of $20 for each car and driver, and just $5 for spectators, this fundraiser all comes down to a great cause- to help the team. In addition to the automotive eye candy, attendees can enjoy local vendors, a variety of raffles with prizes donated by area businesses, a 50-50 raffle, and an array of family-friendly activities. There will be music, refreshments, a face-painting booth for the kids, and lawn games to keep everyone entertained.

The event is organized in support of the Tiverton Tigers volleyball team, a newly formed group brimming with young talent, including many freshmen and sophomores. The team has already shown promise this season, winning two out of their first three games after making it to the playoffs last year. As a special highlight, the team members themselves will be awarding trophies to the top 10 vehicles on display.

Behind the scenes of the planning and organizing is a dedicated parent whose daughter serves as the team's setter. "We’re expecting quite a turnout, so come on down," the Gary Ouellette shared, adding that they hope to make this an annual tradition, allowing future players to carry on the torch.

Coastal Castle in Tiverton is a Must-See High End Home

The shores of the Sakonnet River are definitely not known for their castles. Yet rising above the Seapowet marsh, there is actually a home that from the outside appears to be a stone-sided stronghold.
Inside this might be the most luxurious castle every built in Rhode Island and it could be all yours.
