When Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the Golden Globes earlier this year, one of their many jokes was aimed at Taylor Swift, who was in the audience. It was in reference to Michael J. Fox's 23-year-old-son Sam, who was serving as "Mr. Golden Globe."

The ladies said "You know what Taylor Swift? Stay asway from Michael J. Fox's son. Or go for it. No, she needs some me time to learn about herself." Swift was unamused and told Vanity Fair that she feels there's a "special place in hell reserved for women who don't help other women."

Both Fey and Poehler say they are surprised that Swift took the joke to heart. Amy Peohler tells The Hollywood reporter "I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young a talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell - but for other reasons. Mostly boring tsx stuff."

Tina Fey tells Entertainment Weekly "I did not see that one coming. It was a joke, a lighthearted joke."
