Three More Charged in Alleged Drug Deal in Fairhaven
FAIRHAVEN — Fairhaven Police are filing charges against three additional people in connection to a drug arrest in the town last week.
On Wednesday, September 5, Fairhaven Police Detectives arrested Dominique King, 33, of New Bedford, on charges of trafficking over 18 grams of heroin and conspiracy to violate drug laws. That afternoon, police had witnessed King sell heroin to a woman.
Fairhaven Police have identified the female buyer as Katherine Deltorto, 39, of 364 E. Falmouth Highway, Falmouth. Police are now charging Deltorto with possession of heroin and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
After the September 5 transaction, King was allegedly picked up by two associates: Nathaniel Ojuri, 32 Court Street, New Bedford, and Isaac Gedeon, 18, of 241 State Street, New Bedford. After King was arrested, police located nearly two pounds of marijuana and over $1,700 in cash in Ojuri and Gedeon's possession.
Ojuri and Gedeon now face charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, subsequent offense. Gedeon was out on bail for firearms charges at the time of his arrest. Both men were wearing court ordered GPS monitoring devices at the time of the incident.
