So here we are, my wedding is just a month away and it's insane to think time flew that fast.

I'll be honest, I don't know if I was fully prepared for all the emotions that can come when you get this close to the big day. I mean, you can call it naive if you want, but I just thought I'd be cruising along and eventually we say "I do" and party.

We wisely chose to give ourselves two years to plan things, and we did. We had already found the venue. We already had our DJ. We booked our photographer and videographer so early. We had a nice little spreadsheet with all our plans. Slowly but surely, we've picked away at everything. It's been fun!

Now, it's a little different. We're in the endgame now. As we put a pin in all our final plans my fiancée and I can feel it getting real. We had our little wedding shower, which added a ton of realness too.

It's becoming this weird combination of excitement, nervousness, and impatience. I'm not saying it's all bad, but I definitely wasn't prepared for such a wave of emotions and we're still a month out!

Plus, knowing me, this just all means I'm going to weep like a newborn child on my wedding day. Don't judge me.
