The Great Pumpkin Parade in New Bedford
The New Bedford Art Museum is hosting The Great Pumpkin Parade with the Rotch-Jones-Duff House and Garden Museum.
You are invited to join in the kid-friendly Halloween fun from Tuesday, October 23 to Thursday, October 25 from 5 to 8 PM each night. Refreshments will be served.
Visit the grounds of the RJD to see a display of Jack-O-Lanterns, carved with care by community members. Inside the mansion, children can participate in a scavenger hunt with prizes.
There will also be crafts for the kids.
There is a suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 per family to the RJD.
Want to contribute a pumpkin? Visit NBAM/Artworks on Sunday, October 21 between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm for a pumpkin-carving workshop. Artists will be on-hand to help! Pumpkins carved at this workshop can be submitted to the Pumpkin Parade at the RJD.
Please pre-register for the workshop HERE. There is a small fee of $2 per pumpkin.
