As other towns and the City of Boston turned their Christmas Lights on in the last couple of days, New Bedford lit their lights last night.

The students at Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech High School assembled the display for the Clasky Park. There was a good turnout of families and other students as the Parker Middle School provided some music for those to stay away from the bitter cold. But Santa's company also kept everyone warm.

Members of the community always come together in times like this where people spend time and dedicate it to show others that they can accomplish a lot.

The joy of Christmas season brings out the beauty of the Park and it also attracts a crowd of all ages from kids to the elderly. It also shows all sides of the Christmas holiday, which is crucial because Christmas isn't just about the materialism part. A

The lights can be seen there at Clasky Park throughout the holiday season.
