This year's Sun of a Beach Music Festival has two great bands whose music has surely stamped a time in your life.  For us, Bob Marley has been a huge part of our lives and wanted to make it a huge part of our summer, too, and that's why we're bringing in Bob Marley & The Wailers tribute band Hope Road.

This ten-piece band brings the same positive energy and good vibes that the Wailers are known for. With the saxophone, percussion, trombone- you name it!  That's why we can't wait for Sun of a Beach in July so we can jam to all of our favorites, including our top 5!

1. Three Little Birds.  With lyrics reminding you to smile with rising sun, who wouldn't love this song? If you don't get happy listening to this song just one time, play is a second time.

2. Easy Skankin'.   While it's not one of the more mainstream of Bob Marley tunes, we like it for the simple fact that it promotes taking things slow and easy- one speed, like a bicycle.  We can get down with that, Bob.

3. One Love.  There's a reason Jamaica has made this song their unofficial national anthem.  One Love is a three minute reminder to love everyone equally and spend more time just feeling good about life.

4. Waiting in Vain.  This song has all the makings of a summer fling theme song. We love it because its easy to rockaway to and even easier to relate to.

5. No Woman, No Cry.  This song has always been a fan favorite but found renewed interest when the Fugees put out their version back in 1996 on their album The Score. If you want to take that walk down memory lane, check out the video below.

If you want to join us for a day in the sun with Hope Road and your favorite Bob Marley tunes, grab your Sun of a Beach tickets!
