The 23rd Annual Cans Across the Park is November 14th

Our 23rd Annual Cans Across the Park Food Drive returns to Buttonwood Park on Saturday, November 14th. Like the 22 years before it, we'll be collecting non-perishable food items and lining them up from one length of the park to the other.Each year community members drop off food by the trunk loads, wagon loads and bagfuls- we could not be more thankful for the generosity!  For years now, we've made our line of non-perishables stretch across the park and back again, filling the Red Cross and United Way of Greater New Bedford trucks with countless boxes of food for local food pantries. This year we're hoping to do the same, if not more, with the help from our sponsors Blount Soup Market & Clam Shack, The Edge Seafood & Lounge and community members like you.

Date: Saturday, 11/14/15

Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm

Location: Buttonwood Park, beginning on Brownell Ave and Court St. intersection and through the middle of the park. Drop off your items anywhere that you see volunteers!

Items being accepted: Non-perishables and canned goods

If you are unable to join us on November 14th, you can drop off your donations Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Fun107 and WBSM studios in the days leading up to the event. We are located at 22 Sconticut Neck Road, Fairhaven, Mass. 02719.
