The Southcoast Business Alliance is bringing back it’s popular Oktoberfest on the State Pier for the 10th year in a row.  This event features over 35 regional brews, food, live music and guarantees to have appearances by all of your friends- as this has certainly become the social event of October.

This year’s music line-up includes local favorites Craig DeMelo, Rebecca Correia & Friends the Pourman, and headliner Chadwick Stokes of Dispatch and State Radio.  Chad is a homegrown Boston boy who played with indie band Dispatch for a few years before forming rock trio State Radio.

(Side note: If you were ever a fan of HBO's Weeds, you probably know State Radio's song Keepsake as the song from the saddest Weeds season finale ever. We've posted it below to refresh your memory)

Tickets for Oktoberfest are $20 in advance or $25 at the door the day of the event. Doors open at 3:00pm but after 7pm, this event becomes a 21+ shindig so be sure you have a valid ID with you.  Proceeds from this event support at-risk youth and educational based charities along the Southcoast.

Oktoberfest wouldn't be possible without the support from generous community sponsors, including the Claremont Companies, Advanced Eye Centers, Borden & Remington Corp., Domino's New Bedford, Parallel Products, and The Franchise Group. Be sure to raise a glass to these fine folks when you see them!
