Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island Home Almost Burglarized

Taylor Swift is just one of the biggest celebrities in the world. Having that kind of visibility certainly makes her vulnerable to some crazies.

Taylor's home in Westerly, Rhode Island was apparently the target for an Iowa man who appeared to have everything needed to carry out a break-in at her estate.

Westerly police found a burglary tool and a prohibited weapon. His name is David Page Liddle. He is 32 years old and has been on Taylor's security watch list for some time now. Apparently, he had attempted to visit some of Taylor's other homes.

A call into the Westerly police reported that there had been a suspicious man at the Watch Hill Boat Yard. The led police to find over 30 lock picks and other tools used in a burglary.

David has been formally arraigned after spending the weekend in jail.

According to David, he and Taylor were close and she had promised to help him with his music career.

Taylor won't have to worry about this guy for a while. He will be held in the adult correctional facility in Cranston and will be unable to post bond. Currently, he has been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.
