I've been watching the hit CBS reality show Survivor for my entire adult life. If you're like me, you've often had the fleeting thought, "I wonder if I could do this?" while watching the show.

It's hard to watch that show without playing a little bit of armchair quarterback, particularly when it comes to the physical challenges and the basic survival skills.

Well, here's your chance to show off what you've got. Producers of the CBS Survivor show are coming to Foxboro to scout out the next round of contestants. Tryouts are happening at the CBS Sporting Club at Patriot Place in Foxboro on December 16 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Contestants must be 18 years or older when trying out, and must be in excellent mental and physical shape.

What will producers be looking for? According to the online application, ideal contestants will be strong-willed, outgoing, adventurous, physically and mentally adept, adaptable to new environments, and have an interesting lifestyle and personality.

The prize money, as always, will be one million dollars. The winner will have to outwit, outlast, and outplay the rest of the contestants over a seven-week competition in which cameras will be rolling 24 hours a day. The application reminds potential candidates that they will be responsible for building their own shelter and finding their own food.
