Stop & Shop Making Grocery Shopping Easier

As I working mom, I love this new service from Stop & Shop and just know I'll be using it.

Thank you Stop & Shop for rolling out same day pickup service at nearly two dozen stores.

I have used Peapod delivery in the past and do really like the service, but the options are sometimes limited and I often found myself going to the store anyway for family favorites we couldn't have delivered.

Well apparently I wasn't the only one, because Stop & Shop is offering another great service to make your grocery shopping even easier.

Same day pickup service at your local store.

Yup, the store you know and love could be one of the 20 new stores letting you roll up and grab the groceries you ordered without leaving your car.

I have wanted this to be my reality for so long. And I know other grocers have offered this, but this is the first store I've wanted to use it with.

To not have to take my kids out of the car, try to fit them both along with all the stuff I need to buy into the carriage, checkout, load my car and then unload my car is delightful.

Even better, place an order online at work then hit the market on the way home without leaving the car.

If only they'd come home with me and unpack it all I would be living the ultimate dream.

Among the Mass stores are Seekonk, Somerset and what they call South New Bedford (I assume that means the Dartmouth St location).

RI locations are Warwick (Warwick Avenue), Cranston (Atwood Avenue), Cumberland, Johnston, North Kingstown, Pawtucket (Cottage Street), Providence (Branch Avenue) and Smithfield.
