NEW BEDFORD — The second of the two fishing vessels that sank last week in New Bedford Harbor has now been raised.

The Dinah Jane was raised to the surface today at Homer's Wharf, after a crane pulled the Nemesis from below the surface last week.

Both scallopers were tied together when they sank on February 5.

The two vessels belong to Carlos Rafael, the so-called "Codfather" who is serving a federal jail sentence after being convicted in an illegal overfishing scheme.

The Coast Guard continues to investigate how and why the two boats sank.
