Samuel Adams Releasing Red Sox ‘Damage Done’ IPA
Another championship is on its way to Boston, and Samuel Adams is ready to celebrate!
The Red Sox mantra all season was "Do Damage." It was their calling card and they most definitely were doing a lot of damage. Well now that the damage is done and a ninth World Series title is on its way back to Fenway, Samuel Adams wants to do some damage of its own.
Tomorrow at 5 p.m., they will release the Damage Done Double IPA at the Boston Brewery. The beer is a 7.3 percent ABV New England Style Double IPA, aged on vanilla beans with guava, mango and lactose added.
If you're headed to the parade on Wednesday, you can stop by the brewery before to get a taste "Damage Done" and grab a commemorative Sox koozie and posters.
If you want to try it out, you'll need to move quick. "Damage Done" will only be available through the week.
It's really a perfect way to celebrate Boston and the Red Sox. The city's legendary team, along with the city's legendary beer, all brewed up in one. I'm sure plenty will be consumed from now until the end of the week. I know I'm hoping to do a little damage myself.
