The MGM Show paid a visit to New Bedford's Roosevelt Middle School this morning to present another teacher with a Teacher of the Month award.

We paid a visit to one of Roosevelt's sixth grade teachers, Ms. Jill DeGrazia, and interrupted her lesson on Neolithic tools. Our interruption was for good reason, however.

We read the submission email about Miss DeGrazia to her.

Excerpts From Miss DeGrazia's Teacher of the Month Nomination Letter

"She goes above and beyond for her students every single day. She is patient, kind and truly dedicated to her work. You can see how much she cares about each child in her class. She takes the time to listen, to encourage, and to make learning fun and meaningful."

"Miss DeGrazia has made school something my child looks forward to each day. For that, I can't thank her enough."

Miss DeGrazia has only been at Roosevelt for one year, but she has clearly made an instant impact.

Miss DeGrazia's Grand Prize

That's why our panel has chosen Miss DeGrazia as Fun 107's Teacher of the Month. Thanks to Dave Vermette and Vermette Development, Miss DeGrazia has received a 58-inch smart TV, a membership to BJ's and a $200 BJ's gift card.

The MGM Show posed for pictures with Miss DeGrazia's class.
