Rochester Bakery Is Tearing Up Our Hearts With This NSYNC Cake

This Rochester bakery is bringing back so much boy band nostalgia with this NSYNC cake that we have give a round of applause to the baker.

If you were born in the 1980s, then you more than likely were a fan of a boy band or two through the mid-to-late-90s as the boy band craze raged on.

When Artisan Bake Shop in Rochester got the request from Adam to create an NYSNC cake for his wife Laura's 40th birthday, they were totally up for it.

Meredith Rousseau and Tabitha Mitchell, owners of Artisan Bake Shop and creators of this throwback cake, told us what went into making something like this.

"The entire process from design to creating the decorations (all by hand) to mixing the frosting to baking the cakes and the frosting cakes takes  about 8 hours  from start to finish," Rousseau said.

This isn't the first time the ladies had been asked to create a themed cake involving celebrities.

"Tom Brady has been a frequently requested theme," she said. "We have created many Cristiano Ronaldo cakes. Believe it or not, the Beatles have been requested multiple times over the years."

"We’ve created two Wonder Woman themed cakes. Even a Noah Kahan themed cake one time," she said. "Of course, we’ve been in our Swiftie era with probably 70 Taylor Swift-themed cakes."

This cake brought back some good memories but also has me still hopeful that the boys with reunite and do a tour.

Too bad my birthday already passed, because I'd have them making a Backstreet Boys or O-Town cake – yes, with Ashley Parker Angel.
