Ring Camera Company Is Offering $100,000 to Anyone for Ghost Footage
If you're the owner of a Ring camera system and have caught some ghoulish and goosebump inducing footage, then a pay day could be coming your way.
Ring is on the lookout for eerie encounters, inviting homeowners across the U.S. to submit their best ghostly footage for a chance to win a $100,000 prize. Whether it’s supernatural or silly, Ring wants it all—from orbs and shadows to friends in costumes.
Back in 2022, my personal upstairs Ring camera captured three ghostly orbs and unexplained movement. Could it have been dust? Sure, why not. Is this the kind of footage that could win it all? I'm crossing my fingers. So, what's stopping you from entering in the fun? Ring is encouraging you to share your own ghostly moments, real or staged, by November 1, 2024, or until 5,000 entries are received.
How to Enter the Contest
Participants can log into their Ring accounts and submit clips of 30 seconds or less, captured on an existing Ring device. Full eligibility rules are available on the official site.
Who Can Join?
Anyone with a Ring device and a ghost—or a willing friend in a costume—can take part. Just be sure to get permission from your "ghost" before submitting.
It's officially the Fall/Halloween season, so honor it by submitting your video (no matter how simple or outlandish it may be). Who knows, your unwarranted upstairs guests or unsolicited (or solicited) front door shenanigans could get you one step closer to a hefty payout.
