Get Away From It All at This Rhode Island Tiny House in the Trees
It is the great debate of getaway spots these days: treehouse or tiny house?
Both escapes offer up super cute spaces, many with spectacular views, and they are clearly all the rage on the Airbnb and Vrbo sites.
But what if you didn't have to choose?
There is a tiny house in South Kingstown, Rhode Island that is raised up and tucked away in the trees, giving those that stay there the feeling that they are both in a tiny house and a treehouse – and it is amazingly decorated to boot.
Personally, this is the type of space I dream of actually having in my home. Open and sunny, neat and organized, plus completely spotless.
But alas, I have young children, and anything this white would be destroyed in a heartbeat.
That is why this is the kind of getaway I love to think about booking.
And this place is a great getaway.
The house is a studio inside a former carriage house built in 1901 by Narragansett stonemasons. Since then it has been impeccably updated to offer vacationers amenities like heating, air conditioning, and of course, WiFi.
Plus the tiny treehouse is within walking distance from downtown Wakefield and its amazing restaurants and shops. It's also within biking distance of the beach.
When you get back from the beach, you can clean up in the house's outdoor shower, then kick back on the deck and listen to some records.
A cool and cute getaway spot that has everything you need inside and out to get away from it all.
