Armed Shoplifter Sparks Massive Police Search at Raynham Walmart

RAYNHAM (WBSM) — Raynham Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying an armed shoplifter who fled from Walmart earlier today.

According to a release, Raynham Police responded at 11:58 a.m. today to Walmart on Paramount Drive for a report of a shoplifter who fled from the store.

The suspect ran south and dropped a backpack along Paramount Drive. A firearm was found inside the backpack.

Massachusetts State Police responded to the scene and provided a K-9 tracker and Air Wing helicopter support to try to locate the suspect.
