Lakeville Man Selling Unique Vintage RV With a Beach House Twist
A Lakeville man has decided it's time to part ways what he calls a "cool bus," a rare find that's sure to turn heads on the highway.
Inside the History of the Fishbowl Bus
Ben T-Dash, as he prefers to be called, is the owner of what originally was a Rhode Island city bus, converted into an RV and used as a mobile beach house by its previous owner in Westport.
Why This Vintage RV Is So Unique
It's legal model name and type is a 1969 GMC Fishbowl and it is sitting on Ben's property in Lakeville. Ben has owned this rare find for the last five years. He made sure the bus is sale-ready by making sure there are new tires, brakes, bearings and a few other maintenance items in new condition. It does need a good deep cleaning, but from Ben's post, she runs great.
What's the going price for this cutie? Right now Ben has it listed at $6,900.
"I'm selling because I never have time to use it and she deserves a good home," he said.

We did get some more pictures from Ben so you can take a better look in case you are in the market for something like this.
Just think of all the heads you'll turn cruising down I-195 or Route 140 in this bus.
Should You Take It on a Road Trip?
Now hopefully you have the space to park her someplace safe, or maybe take a road trip. Although I wouldn't recommend a road trip as they say the average mile per gallon of diesel gas is about six miles.
Could This Be the Ultimate Throwback Ride?
Is it just me, or does this bus give off serious National Lampoon's Vacation Griswold family vibes?
