The Patriots are obviously a very good football team, so they're the primetime game pretty often. I kinda hate it.

I don't hate that they're successful. I love that part. Who wouldn't? I love that the Celtics are a favorite this year. I love that the Red Sox just won the World Series. It's fantastic, but I do have one little issue.

I don't love primetime games.

I don't hate them, either. I love being able to hang with the fellas, crack open a couple brewskis and enjoy the game. I absolutely love it.

It's just that sometimes, I don't want to stay up all night.

I'm a huge sports fan and I just can't help but get sucked into the game. Then, suddenly there goes the night. Suddenly, here comes the morning. Suddenly, I'm half asleep, walking into walls while trying to start my day.

It's like being punished for having successful teams and entertaining games. I just want to be able to sit through a super exciting game and get to bed at some kind of human hour. Is that too much to ask?

I know what you're thinking. Stop acting like an old man. Live a little. I can't! I just can't! I mean, not to mention, if it's a super exciting game and we win a close one, then I'm all hyped up at midnight. Now I have to go watch reaction on Sportscenter. It's a whole thing.

I can't be the only one though, right? Primetime is hard!
