Plane Makes Emergency Landing at New Bedford Airport [VIDEO]
NEW BEDFORD - A small engine plane has made a safe landing at New Bedford Regional Airport after reporting engine trouble this afternoon.
The pilot reported engine trouble shortly before 5 p.m.about seven miles away from New Bedford.
Airport tower control personnel tell WBSM News the pilot reported a "rough-running engine."
New Bedford Police and Fire Department apparatus responded to the runway in case of a rough landing.
The pilot was able to safely land the plane shortly after 5 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
