PAW Patrol Experience Extends Its Stay at Burlington Mall
If you have had a child in the last decade, then you presumably know more than you would like about the PAW Patrol. These energetic rescue pups have been among the biggest things for toddlers for years and now their Adventure Bay world has been brought to life inside the CAMP store at Burlington Mall.
CAMP stores have been opening across the United States since 2018 and seem to be picking up where Toys R Us left off. But at CAMP, there is so much more than just toys.
Each location is designed to inspire and engage families with games, crafts, merchandise and themed play spaces.
At the Boston location, which opened inside Burlington Mall in February, you'll find The PAW Patrol Experience, a toddler-sized Adventure Bay play space where parents and kids can partake in an interactive mission to stop Mayor Humdinger's Cloud Catcher machine.
At first glance, you may not even realize this play space is inside the 9,000-square-foot store. CAMP Boston looks like any other toy store as you walk by: shelves of toys, games and crafts, employees working the registers. But for those who purchase tickets to the PAW Patrol Experience, a secret bookshelf will open up and welcome you into a replica Adventure Bay.
Once inside, you have about an hour to start your mission and save the day. Of course, the action starts inside the Lookout Tower, where kids get to slide out just like the pups. You then load into ride-on cars before heading to a kid-friendly obstacle course.
There's also a Rocky and Rubble's Teamwork Rescue area with foam building materials for little carpenters to get crafting, Marshall's Brave Rescue with play water cannons putting out imaginary haywire fireworks and a remote-controlled tumble-car race track.
At the end of the rescue, kids are awarded "keys to the city" and let back out into the store through well-placed PAW Patrol merchandise. There are plenty of other types of toys and games in the CAMP store as well.
The PAW Patrol Experience was supposed to wrap its run at CAMP at the end of March, but has been extended through May 31. That means just a few more weeks to experience this toddler-sized Adventure Bay with your little PAW Patrol fan before the CAMP store's secret backroom gets a whole new interactive theme.
