Patriot Place Hosting Halloween Drive-In Movies Through October

Drive-in movies at Patriot Place are back and have taken a spooky turn. Showcase Cinemas and Patriot Place have teamed up to create a drive-in experience featuring Halloween-themed movies through October.

Each event will screen two movies. The first film will be something appropriate for all ages so the whole family can come together to enjoy some Halloween fun. The second film will be a more traditional scary/horror movie, so the kids should probably skip that one.

The gates will open at 6 pm, and the first film will begin at 6:45 pm. The lot will open around 8:30 pm for the second showing and the film will start around 9:15 pm. The second film depends on the first film’s run-time, so this is not exact.

Coming up this weekend, you can catch Michael Keaton in “Beetlejuice” on Friday, October 16. Just don’t say his name three times. “The Cabin in the Woods” will follow that family-friendly film.

Here is the schedule for the remainder of showings in October:

• "Ghostbusters" and "Silence of the Lambs” on Friday, October 23
• "The Addams Family" (2019) and "Poltergeist” on Saturday, October 24
• "Monster House" and "Nightmare on Elm Street" on Friday, October 30
• "Hocus Pocus" and "It" (2017) on Saturday, October 31

Since the goal is to maintain social distancing guidelines at these events, guests are required to remain inside their vehicles during each show.
