Rhode Island Physical Education Teacher Launches ‘Party P.E.’ to Bring Fun & Fitness to Birthday Parties and More
A Rhode Island physical education teacher has taken the love of P.E. class and transformed it into a fun and affordable experience for birthday parties, celebrations, and more.
When kids find out they can have P.E. class hosted at their house, Party P.E. is going to be the first item on their wish list.

Jessica McCaughey Launches ‘Party P.E.’
In 2021, McCaughey was chatting with a friend about her P.E. unit at Stadium Elementary School in Cranston. The friend wished McCaughey could be her child’s P.E. teacher, and with that simple statement, a lightbulb went off.
“What if I could bring the fun and benefits of P.E. beyond the classroom and into special events like birthday parties?” she asked herself. “I began researching and quickly realized there was nothing like (Party P.E.). I saw an opportunity to create unique, high-energy experiences that not only make birthdays unforgettable but also promote movement, teamwork, and fun.”
What to Expect from Party P.E.
Party P.E. not only brings physical education to any special event, but it also offers a simpler celebration for the parents.
From organizing the games and setting up the activities, McCaughey does it all, allowing the parents to simply enjoy watching their child and their friends have fun.
The feedback from both parents and kids has been overwhelming.
“Parents have expressed how much they love the unique concept and how smoothly we run each event,” she said. “And the kids are absolutely ecstatic to experience what feels like an extended P.E. class, but with even more excitement and all of their friends included. The pure joy on their face is truly priceless and one of the biggest reasons I love what I do.”
McCaughey has taken her passion for teaching to a new level. She offers an entertaining option for celebrations that promotes both mental and physical wellness.
“Providing this service is truly a dream come true,” she said. “Being an elementary school P.E. teacher is my calling, and having the opportunity to extend that passion into Party P.E. makes it even more rewarding.”
The young business has already evolved beyond just birthday parties; Party P.E. is great for corporate team building events, fitness classes at assisted living facilities/nursing homes, and even family reunion field days.
