Padanaram Village Summer Festival returns in July!

Has it been a while since you’ve visited Padanaram? Or maybe South Dartmouth’s coastal village is one of your favorite summer spots? Either way, you don’t want to miss the annual Padanaram Summer Festival on Saturday, July 27, from 9 am to 4 pm. The artisan fair will include 50 fine artists and crafters selling their work on Elm Street. Peruse the artists’ tents from Prospect Street to Harbor Street.

Stop to find unique treasures at Padanaram’s local merchants too. Most will have special sales and events out on their sidewalks. Look for unique treasures, great deals, and even some fun giveaways around town!

Even the food scene is booming in Padanaram. There are several excellent dining options throughout the village. Little Moss, Farm & Coast, Black Bass, Village Sweets, Chumley’s, and Dockside will all have great specials during the Summer Festival. Valley Top Catering and Oxcart will be set up on Elm Street too.

The Summer Festival will offer much for kids to do while their parents shop and meet up with old friends. The Kids’ Zone, located at the corner of Elm and Bridge Streets, will include face painting, game playing, and more. Entertainment for all ages will include performances by local dancing schools, Voices in Time, and the Unlikely Strummers.

Parking in Padanaram is extremely limited, and Elm Street will be closed to traffic so festival guests can safely enjoy the venue. Visitors are encouraged to park at St. Mary’s Church’s Parish Center Lot (accessible from both Dartmouth and Middle Streets). A shuttle provided by the Dartmouth Council on Aging will drive visitors the short distance to the festival and bring them back to their cars when ready to leave.

The Padanaram Summer Festival is produced by the Padanaram Business Association and has been a Padanaram summer tradition for over 30 years.
