Mark your calendars: the critically-acclaimed musician Richard Shindell is taking the stage at Westport Town Farm.

On Saturday, August 3, the Westport Land Conservation Trust are pleased to host the 12th annual Town Farm Summer Concert. The goal of the concert is to get Westport residents and non-residents outside and on the land at Westport Town Farm to support the work of the Westport Land Conservation Trust with their mission to preserve natural resources, farmland, and wildlife areas.

Originally from the city that never sleeps, now dividing his time between Argentina and New York’s Hudson Valley, Richard Shindell is a writer whose songs paint pictures, tell stories, and inhabit characters, vividly evoking entire worlds along the way and expanding our sense of just what it is a song can be. From his debut record Sparrow’s Point (1992) to his current release Careless (2016), Shindell has tapped into his world travels to offer his listeners culturally diverse music.
