Here’s Why Olivia Rodrigo Tickets Will Be Impossible to Find on the SouthCoast
It's been a while since we've been able to do this, so we were thrilled when it happened. We had a major concert announcement this morning as we were wrapping up Michael and Maddie.
We found out that one of Fun 107's hottest stars in 2021 will be coming to Boston this spring. Get ready for Olivia Rodrigo's "Sour" Tour to roll into town on May 3.
Since she burst onto the scene with "Drivers License," Rodrigo has put together a conga line of hits that have received massive airplay both on Fun 107 and around the world.
While she very much appeals to a younger audience, don't get her music confused with the bubble gum pop from the '90s. Instead, think of an angry, young, Alanis Morissette with Snapchat.
Rodrigo will be performing at a brand-new venue in Boston called Roadrunner. While it feels like Rodrigo could play at a much larger venue like TD Garden, promoters took the conservative route and booked her at the 3,500-seat Roadrunner, most likely because they may be worried about whether some fans may not be ready to return to a live show with tens of thousands of people.
The other reason these Olivia tickets will be tough to come by is because they will only be for sale to verified fans. Anyone interested in going to the show needs to sign up for the verified fan presale by midnight on Tuesday, December 7at the Ticketmaster Olivia Rodrigo verified fan page.
There will be no public on sale, so fans will need to register for the presale code to be eligible to buy tickets.
