The four-story tank at the New England Aquarium has now officially reopened after a 10-month, $17 million redesign and renovation.  Monday morning the Boston aquarium's 200,000 gallon giant ocean tank with is new Caribbean coral reef was unveiled with its 2,000 sea creatures from 140 species, including sharks.   That's double the number of inhabitants as the tank had before the renovation.

The tank's windows have been replaced with a clear acrylic, and the frames have been expanded to give us better glimpses into the underwater world.   And according to the New England Aquarium website, the penguins are now back as well.   Their habitat was taken apart during the renovations.
